Kristin Erm (1998) is a painter based in Estonia. She graduated from the Pallas University of Applied Sciences in 2025, majoring in painting, and studied at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in 2024.
Erm is a member of the artist collective Multinektar and has participated in several art exhibitions mostly in Tartu and Tallinn since 2021, including latest exhibitions: “P*RN*” (2026) at Tartu Art House; “SMS. WIFI. OK. Baltic New Painting“ (2026) at Viscosa Culture Factory; “Young Narratives” (2026) at Kadriorg Gallery.
Her more recent work is characterized by expressively distorted figures, an abundance of blue, and playing with composition.
On 31 July at 6:00 p.m., the group exhibition “P*RN*” by Multinektar+ will open in the large gallery of the Tartu Art House.
The sixth group exhibition by the art collective Multinektar delves, with love and rage, into the murky depths of erotic art, this time inviting guest artists to join them. The exhibition explores sexual dissonances and the erotic as an inevitable part of society.
It is unclear who decides what is and isn’t pornography. Sex is sold to us incessantly, from large advertisements in city spaces to videos on our phone screens. Yet Internet platforms are busy with self-infantilisation, censoring all indecent content with the help of a confused algorithm. At a time when our society should be more sex positive than ever before, it is still unclear whether it is considered proper to breastfeed a child in public.
Torn between arousal and disgust, fascination and lust, we blindly feel our way through a landscape that is governed by ill-defined laws. Is porn only intercourse? Is it the naked body? But whose naked body? And who is looking at it? Is it possible to be naked and not be a sex object? Is it still porn when there is no one to perceive it? Do we fear, more than anything else, our own naked bodies? But what about the children?

The art collective MULTINEKTAR (est. 2024, Pallas University of Applied Sciences) unites 13 artists who share a desire to find encouragement, support and inspiration from each other’s company, art and ideas. Together they have forged a collective super-artist, creation in its purest and strongest form, non-stop, tireless, paint splashing in every direction: MULTINEKTAR. In the past two years, the art collective has organised five group shows and numerous solo exhibitions. Since February 2026 they have coordinated the art podcast “Sumin”.

SMS. WIFI. OK. The linguistic commonality of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian signifies the younger generation’s experience of a world with intermittent, intense and constantly recoded information exchange. “Baltic New Painting” asks how a slow, bodily and materially present medium – painting – functions in such an environment.
“SMS. WIFI. OK.” – abbreviations that are understood equally in Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian, refer to a shared communication space where meaning moves quickly, scarcely and across borders. The title of the exhibition connects this linguistic commonality with the experience of the younger generation: a world where information exchange is intermittent, intense and constantly recoded. “Baltic New Painting” asks how painting – a slow, corporeal and materially present medium – functions in such an environment.
The exhibition brings together over a hundred artists from Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, offering a cross-section of how the younger generation uses and understands the medium of painting today.

The focus is on painting as a way of thinking and perceiving in an era characterized by visual abundance, digital speed and screen-basedness. Color, surface and material are not merely formal tools here, but ways of relating to space, identity, emotions and history.
Although painting has a long and institutionally strong tradition in the Baltic States, the younger generation does not treat it as a closed authority, but as a flexible starting point. Painting is a dynamic practice – a medium that can slow down the gaze, create dense and quickly conveyed messages.
The aim of the exhibition is not to define a new “Baltic painting”, but to open up a multi-layered view of how painting works today. It is a space where tradition and experimentation do not oppose each other, but exist in parallel. Like the abbreviations of the title, the meaning here is condensed, mobile and shared – but never completely fixed.

The artist collective Multinektar is conjuring their own Multiverse at Gallery Pallas!
On Friday, 24th October, 6 PM on the first floor main hall of the Gallery Pallas, artist collective Multinektar open their group exhibition. “Multinektar in the Multiverse” invites the guests to explore a communal space filled with the collective energy of 13 artists.
Multinektar’s autumn exhibition at the Gallery of Pallas invites visitors to explore the inner worlds of its artists. The show delves into how these individual souls encounter one another, generate friction, and evolve through connection. “As humans, we can only experience the world as ourselves, yet we are shaped by the environment, ideas, and people around us. Multinektar in the Multiverse is an opportunity to look inside the secret universes of our collective and discover our shared connections,” say the artists themselves.
Artist collective Multinektar was founded in 2024 during a summer painting course by (then) fourth year painting students from Pallas University of Applied Sciences. The collective unites 13 artists who share a desire to find encouragement, support and inspiration from each other’s company, art and ideas. MULTINEKTAR NO1
debute exhibition
Exhibition organized by group members Mari Frühling and Kadri Kalve.
MULTINEKTAR is an art collective of 14 artists. The group was brought together by Pallas University of Applied Sciences in 2021, we have been studying together in the painting department since then. We immediately worked so well together - we were definitely meant to meet! Therefore, we always knew that one day we will create an inspiring platform for further joint activities.
With the name, we refer to our multifaceted art. Every member showcases their meaning of art differently to strive for the essence of art - for this nectar that flows from the author to their works, and from there to the audience.
Although we have organized and participated in exhibitions together in the past, including: in Brussels, Tartu and Narva, this is our first exhibition under a new name.
At the debut exhibition "MULTINEKTAR N01" we take a look into our different personalities and artworks. We also hope to pass the viewer the synergy that we have developed during our years at Pallas, while remaining true to our personal identities.
